i found this great vintage picture frame at the arc thrift shop on milwaukee avenue in september 2007. after getting it home, i took it apart to remove the existing couple occupying its space. after removing their photo i discovered that the frosted, heavy glass created a new atmosphere. this series is the result of the happy accident. as a result, these photographs are some of my favorite portraits to date.
