I feel so happy to announce my newest creative collaboration with Sam Kern of Rewster's Cafe in Logan Square!

Tomorrow we're kicking off our first-ever Rew's Bazaar, a bimonthly art and craft event hosted by Rewster's Cafe. Sam and I have been planning the event since early spring and I'm thrilled to take part both as a co-creator and organizer, as well as a vendor.

Check me out at booth #10, June 16th from 10-6pm! The bazaar is free to attend and it features 14+ artists/crafters, live music from local DJ's, A $3 bloody mary bar and eats from Rewster's Cafe!

My dear friend (fellow cat lady and extraordinary bartender!) Susan was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last month. In an effort to help with mounting medical bills and the hope of treatment into recovery, friends of Susan have put together a fundraiser!

The shindig is happening TONIGHT! 8pm-midnight CST @ Gold Star Bar on Division Street in Chicago!

$25 at the door gets you a drink and eats, and from 8pm-11:30pm there will be three silent auctions, including a new, framed vintage paper collage by me! All proceeds are going to Susan.

my handmade felt mixed cd cases are getting pretty popular! i am so pleased to announce that my cases are being carried at renegade handmade store in chicago, IL and most recently, they are now available at nice things handmade in philly, PA! i am so thankful to have my work out there and to help make the world a little bit cheery...one mixed cd case at a time!

i'm excited to announce that i will be showing artwork once again at gold star bar! the group exhibition will open on saturday, december 5, 2009. "if all else fails..." focuses on digital photographs taken between chicago and portland, OR in 2008 and 2009. this exhibition marks the first time that i will be showing photographic works in chicago! the exhibition is scheduled to run through february 2010 and will showcase six other chicago-based artists.

renegade craft fair 2008!

hooray! i will be showcasing some of my artwork alongside my friend and fellow artist, kristin hulka, at chicago's own Renegade Craft Fair on saturday, sept. 13 from noon to 10pm. the renegade craft fair will include over 250 booths-featuring over 300 artists!!! this year's fair will also include FREE live music, as well as food and beverage vendors. kristin will be hosting booth #219, which is located near the intersection of wood and division. please stop by and say hi!
